Veterans Farm
Veterans Farm mission is to help disabled combat veterans reintegrate back into society through the use of horticulture therapy while working together in a relaxed, open environment. Veterans work as a team to develop solutions that enable them to overcome physical and mental barriers. Veterans Farm was developed to unite disabled veterans and to help them overcome disabilities such as (PTSD) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and (TBI) Traumatic Brain Injuries through “Horticulture Therapy.” Through different programs veterans have a chance to “Earn While They Learn.” Veterans Farm is located in Jacksonville, Florida.
The HEAL Foundation
The HEAL Foundation is a local non-profit organization in Florida serving individuals with Autism living in the Greater Jacksonville Area. The HEAL Foundation is predicated on five conceptual pillars: Education, Awareness, Treatment, Research, and Prevention. HEAL is proud to have awarded $700,000 in grants to area organizations funding camps, schools, support groups, therapists, teachers, and educational facilities.
